    1. Firstly, access the folder containing the QBWUSER.ini file by going through this navigation path: Users[Your user name]AppDataLocalIntuitQuickBooks [year].If you can’t find the folder, enable the hidden files and folders in your Windows.
    2. Once found, right-click the QBWUSER.ini file, select Rename, and add .old at the end of the file name (as in QBWUSER.ini.old).
    3. Next, rename the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file in the same manner, then reopen QuickBooks Desktop.
